June 2008 - Hi, They call me Barley. I like to play rough, would love to have another dog to rough house with in a large fenced yard. I would be best suited with a family with children over 12, I don't want to knock anyone over, I was so excited I almost knocked my foster mom over. I love attention, but I need help with leash walking. The doctor says "I'm healthy, but need to loose about 15#" I am getting lots of play time with my foster brothers and sisters. I'm not sure what to think of the cat...I just bark at her and then mom puts the kitty outside. I even like to play in the rain, can't wait til we go to the river. I am crate trained and housebroke. I know some basic commands, but mom says we will be working on the words "come and off" I don't know what those words mean, but she says I will learn. Over all I am a big teddy bear with a big heart, foster mom has not seen any bad habits.

I was in a shelter in Michigan, and my foster home is in southern Michigan.
