January 2012 - 2012 Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee this year consists of:

The positions up for nomination and those currently in each position:
President: Sue Dorscheid (completing 1st 2-year term; eligible for another term)
Vice President: Betty King (completing 1st 2-year term; eligible for another term)
Treasurer: Jody Petry (completing 3rd 2-year term; no limit)
Secretary: Kimberly Adams (1st 2-year term; no limit)
Region 2 Director: Paul Kartes (completing 1st term; eligible for another term)
Region 5 Director: Max Hamilton (completing 1st term; eligible for another term)
Each year the Nominating Committee selects one candidate for each open position. The names of people selected by the Nominating Committee are published in the Spring issue of Quakers. A member in good standing can also be nominated from the floor, then there is an election which is held by mail and members vote on the candidates. If there are no nominations from the floor, the Secretary casts one ballot for each person selected by the Nominating Committee, so no voting is necessary, and the candidates selected by the Nominating Committee take office November 1, 2012. The procedures for nominations and elections are well defined by Club bylaws which are available on the website at Club Bylaws. .
If you are interested in being nominated for any of the open positions please send a letter of interest with your qualifications to any of the committee members by March 31, 2012.

August 2011 - Board of Directors Election
No additional nominations were received on or before August 16, 2011. It is with pleasure that I, as Secretary of the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Club (USA), cast one vote on August 17, 2011, for the election of the upcoming Board.
The Board will be as follows:
Director – Region 1 – Betsy Fogg (New Hampshire) [Second 3 year term]
Director – Region 4 – Shelley Bakalis (California) [Second 3 year term]
Director – Region 7 – Jenn Hollis (New Jersey) [First 3 year term]
Regional Director terms begin on November 1, 2011 and run through October 31, 2014.

November 2011 - The Toller Health Research page has been updated.
July 2011 - The Region 1 Double Header Club Field Tests rescheduled to September 17-18, 2011. Go to the Events page to download the premium.
June 2011 - Information available about the 2012 Rescue Calendar Photo Contest on the Rescue Merchandise page. The theme is "Hunting Tollers." Deadline for entries is September 6, 2011.
February 2011 - AKC adds the NSDTRC (USA) Club Field Titles (WC/WCI/WCX) to their new Parent Club Performance Title Program which allows the addition of these Club titles to our Tollers' AKC pedigrees. Visit the Club Field Test page for information and links.
