November 2002 - Update 03/03-Positions no longer
available. The following positions are available:
Events: Show/Trial Coordinator and Statisticians. If you are
interested in these positions and want to volunteer your time to the club go to

2002 Elections
August 2002. No additional nominations were
received on or before August 11, 2002.
Therefore, the nominations are closed and I am pleased to inform you that I
have cast one ballot for the Nominating Committee's Slate as listed below:

Change of Candidate
June 2002. Rima Kent Steiber has withdrawn her
acceptance of her nomination for Region 4 Director. The Nominating Committee
offered the nomination to Dominique Jolley of San Ramon, California, and she
accepted. All members eligible to vote for Region 4 Director were notified of
the change of candidate by mail on June 4, 2002, and were sent a copy of
Dominique's biography.

Bylaw Vote
March 2002. On February 4, 2002, ballots were mailed to 374 members who were eligible to
vote, asking them if they approved or did not approve the NSDTRC (USA) Bylaws as
adopted on November 13, 2001.
228 ballots were received by the Secretary on or before March 8, 2002. There
were 222 votes to approve, and 6 votes to not approve.
Votes were cast by 60.9% of the members eligible to vote.
The Bylaws were approved by 97.3% of those members who voted.

Web Changes
December 2002 - "Do You Think You Have a 'Toller' in Your Shelter?"
A tri-fold color brochure available in PDF format that can be downloaded and
printed has been added. This brochure can be given out to your local
shelters and humane societies to help them identify possible Tollers that come
into their facilities. You can navigate to this brochure from the

page.

Provides a listing of various programs, trophies, and awards offered by the
club. The page is under development and new information will be
added as it becomes available. You can navigate to this page from the

- Public Education Materials
Request Form - This form is provided to members to request educational
materials from the Public Education Coordinator. This is an interactive
form which can be filled out online and submitted directly to the Public
Education Coordinator. You can navigate to this page from the
Forms link.
Updated Pages
- Club Business - Actions of
the Board at the October 10, 2002 in-person Board meeting have been added.
In addition, an updated version of the July/August Board Actions has been
provided.
- Club Contacts - Page updated
with our newest Board member for Region 3 plus changes in contact information
for several Appointed Officials (Judges Education Committee Chair, Health &
Genetics Committee Chair, National Trophy Chair, Webmaster.)
